I am a Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder.I teach 3D modeling and animation.My research has been supported by DARPA, the U.S. Navy, the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Army, and IBM.
I received my B.A. in Math from Occidental College and my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.I am also a graduate of the seminary at the Iliff School of Theology.
I grew up in Oxnard, California, and currently live in Boulder, Colorado.
I am married to Wendy, and have three kids: Martina, Isabelle, and Julien.
My areas of expertise in technology include 3D modeling and animation with Maya, audio editing and repair, database and information system design, and multiplayer, networked game development with Unity.
